Plastic Bag Ban Approved In Greenwich Greenwich's Representative Town Meeting approved a ban on Monday, March 12 of single-use plastic bags in town but it does not come with a 23-cent fee per each paper bag used, something environmental advocates also were seeking.  By a vote of 141 to 54, with two abstensions, the town meeting approved the ban after more than two hours of debate, according to the Greenwich Free Press.
