Scooter Driver Seriously Injured In Crash With Vehicle In Fairfield County, Police Say A scooter driver was seriously injured during a crash with a vehicle in Fairfield County. The crash took place around 9:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 29 at the intersection of Post Road East and Bulkle Avenue in Westport, said Lt. David Wolf. When police arrived on the scene, they found the scooter driver had collided with a vehicle and sustained serious injuries, Wolf said. The injured person was transported to the hospital for treatment.
