Woman Struck By Several Vehicles While Crossing Busy CT Roadway, Police Say A 43-year-old Connecticut woman was killed after she was struck by multiple vehicles while crossing a busy roadway. The incident took place in New Haven County in Orange around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14 on Boston Post Road in front of McDonald's. Responding officers found the victim lying in the roadway with multiple traumatic injuries, said Assistant Chief Max Martins of the Orange Police Department. The victim, identified as Khurshida Mohamadi, age 43, of West Haven was transported by AMR ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital where she was pronounced dead, said Martins.  The Depar…

Man Shot, Killed While Working At CT Store A 27-year-old is behind bars after allegedly shooting another man to death at an area tire store. The victim was killed while at work around 8:50 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, in New Haven County at Town Fair Tire, 63 Boston Post Road in Orange, said the Orange Police Department. According to police, Joshwua Figueroa, of New Haven, was shot multiple times by Terrance Allen, 24, also of New Haven, as he was working at the tire store. New Haven resident Vincent Jones, 50, pleaded guilty on Friday, Feb. 1 to one count of bank robbery at U.S. district court in Bridgeport. Jones admitted to attempting to rob the Key Bank on Main Street in East Haven; robbing Webster Bank on Boston Post Road in Orange of $5,469 on July 31, 2017, and robbing the Bank of America located on Boston Post Road in Milford of $6,578 on Aug. 8 last year.
