Bomb Squad Called To Facility In Wilton After Former Employee Drops Off Bags: Police
A factory in Connecticut was the site of a bomb scare on Christmas after an ex-employee dropped off suspicious bags at the building, police said. The incident happened in Fairfield County on Monday, Dec. 25 just after 2:45 p.m., when security personnel at the ASML facility in Wilton at 77 Danbury Rd. (Route 7) told Wilton Police that a man had illegally entered the building while carrying several bags. Suspicious Item Causes Bomb Scare At Connecticut College
A suspicious item along a walkway at Connecticut College caused a bomb scare and students to shelter in place. The incident took place in New London County around 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, at the college located on Crozireer Drive in New London. New London police and fire personnel responded to the college after receiving information regarding a "suspicious" item on the walking path between the student center and the Plex, said Capt.
