Man Shot In Stomach During Attempted Mugging In Bridgeport
A man is recovering after being shot in the stomach during an attempted mugging in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 6 a.m., Saturday, April 29 on Atlantic Street near the intersection with Waldemere Avenue. According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police, a 54-year-old Bridgeport man went to an area hospital suffering from a single gunshot wound to the stomach.
