Large Amount Of Money Stolen From ATM At Bank In Darien
Police are investigating after a large amount of money was stolen from an ATM at a bank in Fairfield County. At about 9:40 am. on Tuesday, April 11, police in responded to Webster Bank at 1101 Post Road (Route 1) in Darien. on a report of money stolen from the ATM machine. The employee noticed the ATM had been tampered with when entering the bank, Darien Police said. The employee conducted an audit of the ATM and discovered a large amount of money was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Police Seek Information After Stolen ATM Found Emptied Of Cash In Fairfield County
Police are investigating after a stolen ATM was found emptied of cash in Fairfield County. Connecticut Department of Transportation crew members located an ATM in Bridgeport on the morning of Monday, Sept. 26, on Route 8, and called police, Connecticut State Police reported. Troopers determined that the ATM had been stolen out of New Haven, police said. "Of course, the machine was empty of cash, but that makes cents, right?" State Police said in the announcement. Authorities asked anyone who witnessed the disposal of the ATM to call State Police at 203-696-2500.

Video: Know Them? Alert Issued For Suspect In Theft Of ATM In Fairfield
Fairfield Police are asking the public for help in identifying several suspects who allegedly ripped off an ATM machine from inside a business. The theft took place sometime between 12:30 and 4:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the Wash Tub Laundromat, 332 Tunxis Hill Road, said Lt. Robert Kalamaras. A follow-up investigation revealed, the front glass window to the laundromat was broken to make entry and the individuals can be seen getting out of one car and into another vehicle during the time frame of the robbery.
