Seen Him? CT Police Asking For Help Locating Shooting Suspect Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help locating a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting in a city park. The incident occurred in New Haven County on Sunday, Aug. 25, around 6 p.m. at Schofield Park in Waterbury. According to Waterbury Police Lt. Ryan Bessette, officers responding to the shooting report located a 22-year-old man who had been shot.  The man was transported to a local hospital and has since been treated and released and is recovering, Bessette said. Teen Pistol-Whips Victim In Attempted Fairfield County Robbery, Police Say An 18-year-old man was busted for attempted robbery after he pistol-whipped the victim during the attack, police said. Brant Hufcut, of Milford, was arrested Wednesday around 8:30 p.m., following an attempted robbery on Prayer Spring Road, said Stratford Police Captain Frank Eannotti. The robbery occurred when Hufcut and an unknown accomplice were at the victim’s residence.
