5 Nabbed In Special Bridgeport Operation To Reduce Crime, One Still On Run, Police Say Five Connecticut residents have been charged, and one is on the run in connection with a triple shooting in which more than 40 shots were fired earlier this year. The incident occurred in Fairfield County in Bridgeport on Tuesday, Aug. 22, on Park Avenue. The arrests are part of a month-long investigation named "Operation Take Back Park Avenue," after numerous shootings and one stabbing resulted in two homicides in that same area between May and September of this year, Capt. Felon From Fairfield County Admits To Having Gun, Feds Say A Fairfield County man has pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Allen Lusmat, 30, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 18, to possessing the gun in New Haven when he entered a convenience store, said John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut. According to court documents and statements made in court, on April 10, 2019, Tyrell Cox-Henderson entered a convenience store in New Haven and placed a Smith & Wesson .357 caliber revolver behind some merchandise on a shelf.
