Police Search For I-84 Hit-Run Driver Connecticut State police are asking the public for help locating the driver of a light-colored SUV involved in a hit-and-run crash on I-84 in Fairfield County.  The incident took place around 1:40 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30, near Exit 5 in Danbury when the SUV merged into the right lane and hit the front driver’s side of a 2010 Honda Civic, state police said. The crash caused the Honda to swerve right and strike a metal beam guide rail before veering left and colliding into a center median concrete barrier, state police said. Three Seriously Injured In Crash Causing Hours-Long Closure On Yellow Mill Bridge Three people suffered serious injuries in a crash overnight in Fairfield County. It happened around 9:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, on the Yellow Mill Bridge located on Stratford Avenue in Bridgeport.
