Wilton seventh-graders Jack Williams and Jackson Cote were selected to be part of the Connecticut Premier Hoops U-13 All-Star Team.
The duo participated in the Brewster, N.Y., Tip-Off Classic against some of the top youth basketball players in Connecticut and New York. The U-13 All-Star Team went 2-1 in Sundays games.
In the first game, Premier downed the host team NorEast Lightning, 60-53. In its second game, Premier gave the eventual champions, Phoenix Basketball U-14s, all they could handle, before losing 61-51. The game was close all the way through. In the third game, Premier rallied from a second-half deficit of 17 points to beat the Kingston Komets (N.Y.), 65-64, in overtime.
