Parents packed a recent meeting of the Board of Education to complain about McDougal after saying they had first taken their complaints to school administrators but did not get any response or redress to the situations regarding soccer, lacrosse, football and other sports, said the Wilton Bulletin.

Some of the complaints included the varsity soccer coach’s disregard for the safety and mental and emotional health of junior and varsity players, the Wilton Bulletin reported. In addition, parents accused the administration of using bullying tactics against student-athletes to protect their behavior and to avoid taking responsibility for what was taking place on and off the field, added the Wilton Bulletin.
