Mary McArdie, 64, of Wilton turned herself in on an active arrest warrant on Monday, Aug. 19 around 10:45 a.m., Wilton Police said.
Police say McArdie was involved in an accident on Thursday, March 28. She allegedly ran off the road and hit a tree on Seir Hill Road.
McArdie was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to keep right. She was released after posting a $5,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday, Aug. 29.
