A local woman appearing in Norwalk Superior Court was nabbed by Wilton Police on an outstanding warrant for harassing another person and damaging a vehicle, Wilton Police said.

Melissa Lee Hernandez, 28, of Waterbury, was arrested Monday for an incident that took place in November when she is accused of causing damage to a vehicle over a former boyfriend and for continuing to threaten and harass the victim after being ordered not to, said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk.

Hernandez was charged with harassment and threatening and is being held on $30,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
