Officers responded to Chez Ernie’s Cafe (21 Tokeneke Road) on the report of an altercation between two patrons on Friday, March 1 around 9 p.m.

Prior to their arrival, officers were informed that the suspect, later identified as 22-year-old Kendra Fitzpatrick, had left the scene and was entering a gray Jeep. When officers arrived on scene, the victim informed them that he did not know who hit him or why he had been targeted.

Other officers were able to locate Fitzpatrick in the gray Jeep, which was parked nearby the cafe. Police say Fitzpatrick refused to exit her vehicle to be interviewed. When she eventually complied, she physically confronted one of the officers and threatened to kill him, according to police.

Fitzpatrick allegedly told police that she had struck the other patron with the bottle because he was making fun of her.

Police say Fitzpatrick tried to walk away several times and had to be physically restrained while talking with officers. She also allegedly spit intentionally on one of the arresting officers.

Fitzpatrick was eventually restrained, arrested and taken into custody. She was charged with breach of peace and interfering with an officer and is scheduled to return to court on Monday, March 11.
