Police Fill The Top Ranks As Wilton's Highest Earners

WILTON, Conn. -- Of Wilton's highest paid town employees, police officers took up 11 of the Top 20 spots, according to the Wilton Bulletin.

In gross pay, which includes overtime, Capt. John Lynch was the town’s top earner in 2014 at  $164,076, coming in above Sgt. David Collins at $151,707, the Bulletin said.

In base pay, with no overtime or stipends, Chief Financial Officer Sandra Dennies was the highest-paid municipal staff member at $148,724, the report said.

First Selectman William Brennan came in only at seventh place with a salary of $132,867 for the year, the Bulletin said.
