Wilton Support Group Offers Safe Place For Parents Of Troubled Children

WILTON, CONN. -- Parents whose children may be struggling due to the stress of the holiday season are invited to join a free support group in Wilton.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Child and Adolescent Network (CAN) offers a support group in Wilton for parents of children with behavioral, emotional, and mental health issues.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Child and Adolescent Network (CAN) helps parents of children with behavioral, emotional and mental health issues.

The meetings are free, confidential, and safe. They are led by trained volunteers who have had their own experiences raising troubled children.

Parents in the group come from Redding, Weston, Westport, Wilton, and other towns in the area.

The group’s next meetings are: Monday, Dec. 21, and Monday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Meetings are held at the G&B Cultural Center, 49 New St., Wilton.
