Adventurer Gregg Treinish To Talk At May Watershed Event

WILTON, Conn. – Adventurer, scientist and conservationist Gregg Treinish will make a presentation at the Wilton Library May 21 as part of the annual meeting of the Norwalk River Watershed Association, the group announced.

Treinish’s talk, which is free, will take place in the Brubeck Room of the library following the association’s annual meeting, which is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Wilton Go Green is co-sponsoring Treinish’s talk, which is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with the library and the Watershed Association.

The Watershed Association, incorporated in 1996, is a not-for-profit that works to improve the water quality and aesthetic value of the 40,000 acres that make up the Norwalk River watershed. The watershed covers Norwalk, Ridgefield, Redding, Wilton, New Canaan, Weston and Lewisboro, NY.
