Police Searching For Shooter After Locating Shell Casings, Property Damage In Norwalk
Police are investigating after receiving reports of shots fired and the discovery of shell casings and property damage in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk during the evening hours of Sunday, July 16, in the 100 block of Suncrest Road. Officers responded to the area and located several shell casings and property damage, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police. No one was injured. Currently, the Detective. Suspect On Run After Gunning Down Man In Broad Daylight In Fairfield County
Police are on the hunt for a gunman who shot a man in broad daylight on a street in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 12:20 p.m., Thursday, May 20, when the Norwalk Police Department received several 911 calls on the report of shots fired and a man down, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino. Police officers immediately responded and discovered the gunshot victim in the area of 160 Suncrest Road, Gulino said. One Wounded In Norwalk During Shots Fired Incident
Norwalk police are investigating a shooting in which one person received a minor gunshot wound. The incident took place around 11:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1 on Suncrest Road in Norwalk, said Lt. Jared Zwickler. Arriving officers found one victim with a minor gunshot wound. Detectives were called to the scene to investigate. The case remains under investigation by the Detective Bureau and anyone with information is asked to call Detective John Sura at 203-854-3011.

Vehicles Damaged By Gunfire In Norwalk Just Before Similar Incident In Darien
An investigation is underway after shots were fired from a vehicle in Norwalk. The incident, on Saturday, Aug. 1, at around 4:45 p.m officers responded to Colonial Village on Suncrest Road. A short time later, shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday, numerous gunshots were fired from a moving motor vehicle in Darien on West Avenue. In the Norwalk incident, officers arrived on scene and found three vehicles damaged by gunfire. Norwalk Fire Destroys Two Apartment Units, Displaces Residents
Norwalk firefighters responded to a quick-moving blaze that displaced several residents. The fire started around 3:35 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, at 24 Suncrest Road, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Todd Smith. According to Smith, firefighters arriving on the scene reported heavy fire in the rear of the building with an extension inside the building.
