A Fairfield County teen has been arrested for allegedly sending an inappropriate photo of a student at an area high school throughout the school. Julian Krieg, age 18, of Monroe, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 12, for his involvement in an incident at Masuk High School, said Lieutenant Stephen Corrone, of the Monroe Police. Fairfield County Man Charged With Inappropriate Sexual Contact With Two Minors, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested for the second time for allegedly inappropriately touching two juveniles after giving them alcohol. The first incident took place in December when the Monroe Police Department received the complaint of a sexual assault taking place at the home of Thein Ly, age 38, of Monroe, said Monore Police Lieutenant Stephen Corrone. Police are warning residents of a strong-arm robbery following the arrest of a juvenile for stealing an iPhone after setting up the purchase of the phone online in Fairfield County. The incident took place on Saturday, Feb. 13, when the Monroe Police received the report of a strong-arm robbery at a residence on Castlewood Drive in Monroe, police said. Man Busted Attempting To Cash Fraudulent Check At Fairfield County Bank, Police Say
A 49-year-old man was busted in Fairfield County for attempting to cash a fraudulent check. Johnny Rivera, of New Haven, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 4, at Union Saving Bank in Monroe for charges involving fraudulent activity, said Monroe Police Lt. Stephen Corrone. Large House Fire In Fairfield County Has Closed Roadway
A large house fire in Fairfield County has closed a busy roadway in the area. The Monroe Fire Department was called to the scene of the fire around 10:24, Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 138 Hattertown Road in Monroe. First arriving units found the home fully engulfed in flames, said Lt. Stephen Corrone, of the Monroe Police Department.
