IDs Released For 25-Year-Olds Killed In Hit-Run Fairfield County Crash Police have identified two 25-year-olds killed while crossing a street, and the hit-and-run driver involved in the incident in Fairfield County. The two were killed in Stamford around 2 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Main Street. An initial investigation revealed that the two pedestrians, Giovanni Vega Benis and Yuliana Arias Lozano, both Stamford residents, were walking westbound across Washington Boulevard at Main Street when they were struck by a 2022 Mercedes-Benz, said Sgt. Suspect Nabbed In 2018 Fatal Shooting Of Fairfield County 16-Year-Old A 21-year-old man has been accused of fatally shooting a teenager nearly three years ago in Fairfield County. The Stamford Police Department announced that officers arrested local resident Isaias Delacruz for his role in the shooting death of 16-year-old Marcus Hall, who was shot repeatedly on Sept. 20, 2018 on Pequot Lane in Stamford. Police said that Delacruz was appearing at the Stamford courthouse for an unrelated criminal matter when he was taken into custody by investigators. Fairfield County Man Arrested For Shooting Death Of Girlfriend, Police Say A 67-year-old Fairfield County man has been arrested for the murder of an area woman who was shot to death in May 2020. The Stamford Police Department arrested Gary Greig, age 67, of Stamford on Thursday, March 11 for murder in the death of 50-year-old city resident Staci Magazzi, said Lt. Tom Scanlon. Greig has been in the custody of the Connecticut Department of Corrections for a firearm charge related to this same incident, Scanlon said. 82-Year-Old Man Charged With Negligent Homicide In Death Of Old Greenwich Woman An 82-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of an Old Greenwich woman who was allegedly hit by his vehicle. Charles P. Graves, of Riverside, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 9, in conjunction with the death of Regina Dowling, 63, on Nov. 29, 2019, said Greenwich Police Capt. Robert Berry. According to police, Graves was driving his vehicle on South Beach Avenue when he allegedly improperly turned onto Station Drive South, striking Dowling as she was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk, Berry said.
