Gridlock Alert: I-95 Crash Causing Stop-Go Delays In Westport This story has been updated.  There was gridlock on a stretch of I-95 in Fairfield County late Saturday afternoon following a serious crash. The crash, reported just before 4:30 p.m., occurred on the southbound side between Route 33/136 (Exit 17) and East Avenue (Exit 16) in Norwalk, with stop-and-go delays of up to a half-hour to Sherwood Island (Exit 18) in Westport.

Crash Causes Gridlock On I-95 Stretch In Westport This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of I-95 early Monday evening after a crash that initially blocked the left lane. The incident occurred on the southbound side between Center Street (Exit 19) in Westport and Sherwood Island (Exit 18). There was stopped traffic at the scene of the crash and stop-and-go delays of up to a half hour to Black Rock Turnpike (Exit 24) in Fairfield until the lane reopened around 7 p.m. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
