Man Arrested In Stamford Admits Violating Sex Offender Registration Laws
A registered sex offender with a pair of convictions has admitted to violating the Sex Offender Registration and Notification act when he moved from New York to Connecticut without notifying authorities. Isiah Duncan, 36, pleaded guilty in Bridgeport district court following his arrest in Fairfield County last year on an unrelated Connecticut warrant. Man Posing As Teen Sentenced For Sex Assault Of Minor In Fairfield County
A 45-year-old man is heading to prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Fairfield County after posing as a teenager on the Internet. Torrington resident Christopher Galvin, 45, has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison, followed by 10 years probation after he pleaded guilty in January to second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor through a computer.
