Farmer Pistol-Whipped, Robbed Before Milking Cows In CT: Suspects At Large Authorities are searching for two suspects who assaulted and robbed a farmer in New Haven County while he was on his way to milk his cows.  The incident happened on Saturday, May 20 around 4 a.m. when police responded to the Fieldview Farm located in Orange on Derby Avenue for a reported assault and robbery, according to Orange Police.  Once officers arrived, the victim reported that when he left his home to milk his cows, he was approached by two unknown men who were wearing black face coverings.  One of the men, who was armed with what appeared to be a black handgun, …

Large CT Beach Brawl Leads To Officers Being Assaulted, Police Say Police had to shut down a public beach after extremely large crowds of some 500 people became unruly and numerous fights broke out in which officers were allegedly attacked in Connecticut. Man Busted For Operating Drug Factory In Fairfield County, State Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested by the state drug task force for allegedly selling drugs from his home. Dashon Johnson, age 41, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 18, on a warrant following an investigation into drug sales in the area, said the Connecticut State Police. Johnson, who is a convicted felon, was allegedly selling drugs from his home on Lenox Avenue in Bridgeport, state police said. During the search, detectives found the cash, a firearm, an amount of crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin, and drug packaging materials.  Johnson was taken into custody without …

The incident took place around 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, when multiple shots fired were detected by Shotspotter in Bridgeport in the area of 843 Connecticut Avenue, 480 Bunnell Street and 1498 Central Avenue, said Bridgeport Capt.
