Suspect Wanted For Sexual Assault Of Minor Caught While Attempting To Drive Onto I-95 An area man was caught driving onto I-95 attempting to escape after being identified as a suspect in the sexual assault of a minor. Mauredson Chaves, 38, of Ansonia, was identified by the Ansonia Police Department as a suspect in a reported case of the sexual abuse of a minor on Friday, Feb. 1, and an arrest warrant was obtained, said Asonia Police Lt. Patrick Lynch. With the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department, Chaves was taken into custody without incident as he attempted to drive onto I-95 southbound, Lynch said.
