30 Rounds Fired, 3 Wounded, 1 Critically, In Bridgeport Shooting Three people were wounded, one critically during a shooting in Fairfield County on a busy city street. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 in the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Bridgeport Police officers responded to the area after receiving multiple ShotSpotter notifications and reports of numerous people shot, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.  When officers arrived, they quickly located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The woman caring for the baby was inside the gas station/convenience store at the time, dealing with a credit card issue, Hamden Police said. Wanted: Search Is On For Suspect In Armed Robbery At Post Road Gas Station Police are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery of an area gas station. The robbery took place around 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at the Gulf gas station on Post Road, Darien Police said. Alicia Sheremeta, 30, of 98 Brown St., was arrested Monday and charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief, larceny and other charges in connection with the Dec. 19, 2017, burglary of the Gulf Gas Station on Danbury Road in Wilton, said Lt.
