Where's The Beef? Woman Assaults Hamden Deli Owner Over Amount Of Meat In Sandwich A deli store owner was attacked with a belt by a woman after she complained about the amount of meat on her sandwich and attempted to leave the store without paying for it.  The incident took place around 3 p.m. Monday when Regina Solomon, 32, of New Haven, ordered a sandwich and calzone at Krauszer’s Food Store, 36 Fairview Avenue, according to Hamden Police Capt. Ronald Smith.  According to the investigation, Solomon was upset at the price of the sandwich.
