The New Canaan Police Department reported that officers responded to a home on Carter Street at about 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, after receiving a report of a loud party. Upon arrival, officers saw young people running from the home and into the woods and found open and unopened containers of alcohol in the area, police said. Numerous Vehicles Burglarized While In Parking Lots Of Fairfield County Town, Police Say Police are once again reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove their key fobs after reports of numerous vehicle larcenies in parking lots in Fairfield County. According to New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski said that since January there have been 25 vehicles stolen and 30 thefts from vehicles in New Canaan. New Canaan Woman With Warrant For October DUI Crash Charged A woman from New Canaan has been arrested and charged by warrant following an alleged DUI crash that occurred last October, police say. A New Canaan Police patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling south on South Avenue on Friday, March 8 around 6 a.m. A check of the license plate through COLLECT resulted in the officer’s discovery of a warrant for the owner’s arrest.
