Man Who Flees After Crashing Into Mailbox In Greenwich Under The Influence, Police Say
Police found an impaired driver unconscious and unresponsive in his vehicle after he drove into a mailbox and crashed, Greenwich police said. Officers from the Greenwich Police Department received a report that a vehicle had struck an Edgewater Drive mailbox shortly after 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12. A vehicle matching the description of the one that stuck the mailbox was tracked down less than a quarter mile away on Lockwood Drive.
