ID Released For Stamford Man Fatally Stabbed Outside Party Christmas Day Police have identified a Fairfield County man who was fatally stabbed outside of a home during a Christmas party. 32-Year-Old Killed In Christmas Stabbing At Stamford Home Juan David Hernandez Velasco, age 32, of Stamford, was attacked around 3:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 25 on Crystal Street. Capt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police said Velasco was stabbed multiple times and then driven to Stamford Hospital by partygoers where he underwent emergency surgery. He later died.
