Driver Charged After Crash Killed Woman, CT State Police Say
A 63-year-old man is facing charges in a two-vehicle crash on a Connecticut highway that killed a 58-year-old woman. Mark Herbst, of Hartford, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 8, and charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, according to Connecticut State Police. Police said the crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 in Glastonbury. A 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML350, driven by Herbst, struck a 2004 Toyota Camry on Route 2 Westbound near the Exit 9 on-ramp, authorities said.
