WESTON, Conn.- Weston parents of the senior class of 2025 can begin registering their children for kindergarten at Hurlbutt Elementary School next week.
The registration is for the 2012-2013 school year. Drop-in kindergarten registration will take place for parents whose last names begin with A-L in Hurlbutt Elementary Schools South House Cafeteria between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 5.
Parents with last names that begin with M-Z can register on Dec. 8 during the same time.
Parents must bring a registration packet, proof of residency and a copy of their childs birth certificate.
A blue state of Connecticut Health Assessment Record must be completed by a doctor and dropped off at the nurses office before school starts. The record should be up-to-date through the 5-year-old checkup, unless the child turns five after school begins. If this is the case, the Health Assessment Record should be complete through the 4-year-old checkup and updated as soon as the child turns five.
Registration for kindergarten at Hurlbutt cannot be completed without these documents.
