WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Weston man was charged with crashing his car and leaving the scene on Easton Road in October 2014, according to Westport police.
Laurence Shore, 64, of Weston, was charged with leaving an accident scene and failure to grant right of way.
The accident happened in October of 2014, but Shore had managed to evade police until late last month, according to police. Police identified Shore by finding his vehicle at the train station and confirming that the damage on his car matched damage in the earlier crash, police said.
There has been an active warrant for his arrest since 2014, police said.
