Dora Louise Fiddler, 91, Of Westport, Retired Wall Street Securities Trader

WESTPORT, Conn. - Dora Louise (Altamura) Fiddler, of Westport, died March 30. She was 91.

Fiddler was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Oct. 31, 1921. Following a long career on Wall Street in securities trading and investment banking in the 1940s and 1950s, she retired.

A resident of Westport for 47 years, Fiddler took part in numerous community service and civic activities, including the Westport Historical Society, Fairfield Women's Exchange, the Investment Club of Westport and the Fairfield County Hunt Club.

Fiddler is survived by her husband, Capt. Roy E. Fiddler; children, Maria Leukart (Jay) of Monroe, Conn. and Edward Fiddler (Terry) of Brookfield, Conn.; three grandchildren; and two great-grand children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 4, at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 49 Turkey Hill Lane, Westport. Entombment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
