WESTPORT, Conn. A driver was hospitalized after a three-car accident on the Merritt Parkway in Westport on Tuesday afternoon, Assistant Fire Chief Robert Kepchar reported.
The accident happened at about 3:53 p.m. between Exits 42 and 44 northbound. Firefighters assisted Westport EMS in evaluating the drivers involved and cleaned up fluids spilled in the crash, Kepchar said.
The accident was cleared by about 4:39 p.m. State police were investigating the cause of the accident.
