REDDING, N.Y. Visitors to Topstone Park want slight upgrades to the park, according to a survey issued to residents by the Park and Recreation Department, The Redding Pilot reports.
The survey, distributed at the end of the summer and reviewed in November, asked residents to rank projects. Inquiries pertained to the beach area, pond maintenance and trail maintenance. Room at the end of the survey was also available for comments.
Key results include hydro-raking and dredging the pond as well as taking care of foliage and surface algae. Survey takers also asked for beach sand to be replaced with a cleaner, finer and beachlike product.
The hiking trails at Topstone are open all year, and the beach area is open from May to September.
