Pick Up an Absentee Ballot on Saturday

Time is getting short to pick up an absentee ballot for Tuesday's primary election. Applications and ballots will be available at the Easton Town Clerk's office at Town Hall from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Regular weekday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The polls open at 6 a.m. Tuesday at Samuel Staples Elementary School and close at 8 p.m.

Registered Republicans and Democrats can vote in their respective primaries; unaffiliated voters cannot vote in primaries in Connecticut. For more information, call the clerk's office at (203) 268-6291, Ext. 4.
