9:30 to 11:00 a.m.: Breakfast with Santa at the Easton Community Center, ages 2 and up, donation of $5 per child suggested. Bring your little one and enjoy breakfast and a craft at the ECC. A special visit and picture time with Santa will follow breakfast. Santa is expected to make an appearance at 10:15. Don't be late!
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Holiday gingerbread house making at the Easton Community Center, $30 for members, $35 for non-members. Not your regular gingerbread house, this is an edible gingerbread house, complete with home made ginger bread, royal icing, and candies. Your junior chef will learn how to use their own pastry bag and make edible candy decorations for the gingerbread house. Each house will be a unique piece of art and constructed on a 10 inch cake board for easy transporting and displaying in your home. If you are unable to stay, houses will be available for purchase to take home and decorate at your leisure.
Sunday, Dec. 12
1 to 5 p.m.: Last open house of the year at the Adams School House. Raffle winner drawn.
Monday, Dec. 13
4 p.m.: Sock glove covers, for grades 6 and up at the Easton Library conference room. Registration required. For more information, contact the library at 203-261-0134.
5 to 7 p.m: Police Commission meeting, Easton Library Meeting Room.
