Share Your Books This Summer

Chances are tucked away in the high, hard to reach corner of your bookshelf, there is a book or two that you and your children once enjoyed reading together before they grew out of it. Instead of letting it sit there, lonely, unread and collecting dust, why not give it a new home so someone else can enjoy it, too?

You can donate your gently used elementary school level books to the Easton Community Center's "Take a Book! Leave a Book!" event. The centers asks you to drop off your books at the front desk before July 30 so the event can kick off with good selection.

Beginning Aug. 3, there will be a table at the entrance of the center gym where you can leave more books, and take a few home with you too. The center hopes the event will encourage summer reading. For more information call 203-459-9700.
