The tour leaves from the Visitor Center at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.
Cruson, the park's archaeologist, has been actively digging excavations for the past 10 years and will share his new findings during the walk. Attendees will learn about the history of the park and its Revolutionary War camps.
The fifth Connecticut Regiment will accompany Cruson and read journal entries from actual diaries of soldiers who were stationed there.
The park is located at the corner of Route 107 and Route 58 in Redding. Visit the website for more information.
