Easton Kids Can Meet Author Jane Paley at Library

EASTON, Conn. – Easton Moms and Dads can take the kids to meet children’s author, Jane Paley, along with her dog, Hooper, as just one of the many activities offered at the Easton Public Library next week. Here is a complete list:

Monday, Nov. 14

• 4 p.m.: Junior Book Club. The club is reading “Hooper Finds a Family” and author Jane Paley, with her dog Hooper, will be on hand to join the discussion. Contact the children's librarian if interested. Grades 3 and 4.

Tuesday, Nov. 15

• 10:30 a.m.: Baby and Toddler Be-Bop. Music, movement and fun. Ages 6-36 months. Come by.

• 2:15  p.m.: Preschool Story Time. Stories and activities for ages 3 and older. Come by.

Wednesday, Nov. 16

• 10:30 a.m.: Baby and Toddler Be-Bop. Music, movement and fun for ages 6 months through 36 months. Come by.

• 4 p.m.: Paper Creations. Create a crow, with movable wings, out of paper. Registration is required. Open for grades K-2.

• 6:45 p.m.: Paper Creations. Create a scarecrow to sit on top of the table. Registration is required. Grades 3 and up.

Thursday, Nov. 17

• 2:15 p.m.: Preschool Story Time. Activities and stories for children ages 3 and up. Come by.

• 4 p.m.: Big Kid Story Time. A new program for children in kindergarden or older. Come by.
