Westport Clothing Manufacturer 203 Holds First Community Day

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Westport-based clothing manufacturer will hold its first Community Day on Tuesday.

The company, the Two Oh Three, is owned by the sister and brother team of Tory and Roscoe Brown. For 203 Community Day, the company will hold a free glove giveaway in the lower parking lot of the Westport Library at 6:30 p.m.

Those who attend are asked to give the gloves to needy resident.

"As a company, The Two Oh Three is an avid believer in acts of kindness, no matter how big or small,'' according to a posting on its website. "Everybody has the ability to brighten someone else’s day, and this ability should not go unused. We believe that the tiniest efforts can have a massive impact on individuals and their communities. Unfortunately, these efforts are often avoided or written-off as unimportant. With the holiday season now over, the idea of sitting back and not doing anything is all too common.

"The goal of our Community Day is simple: to brighten as many people’s day as possible through a small act of kindness—handing out gloves,'' it added.
