WESTPORT, Conn. -- Families who like a good joke and enjoy acting will want to take part in the upcoming three-part Improv workshop coming to Westport.
Offered by the Westport Library, the classes for both adults and children ages 10 and over begin at 7 p.m. Sept. 30 and run through Oct. 28. Admission is free.
Veteran improviser Dana Rossi and student Kerstin Rao will teach the basics of building a scene from nothing and using tools such as careful listening, finding the "game" of the scene and using a suggestion from the audience to inspire creativity.
The workshops will be held at the library, 20 Jesup Road. The last two sessions are Oct. 14 and 28.
Registration is offered online at www.westportlibrary.org. For further information, call 203-291-4800.
