EASTON, Conn. — The Easton Police Department issued a traffic alert at about 6 p.m. Monday warning residents that Route 58 is blocked at Country Club Road by branches in the roadway.
Workers from the State of Connecticut are enroute to clear the state roadway. It was not clear when the road would be passable.
Residents are urged to use caution while driving through this area and all of Easton after severe thunderstorms moved through town.
