Trumbull Typifies Fairfield County Office Market High Vacancy Rate Across Fairfield County, the office market continues to suffer from high vacancy rates, according to this report in the New Haven Register.   Trumbull is suffering the most of any community in the county, according to a 2017 office space market analysis by Cushman & Wakefield, with a 44 percent vacancy rate -- the highest in the region.
