Shooting Suspect Arrested For Drive-By Shooting That Prompted Lockdowns At Three CT Schools
A 20-year-old suspect has been arrested for an alleged drive-by shooting that led to lockdowns at three Connecticut schools, authorities announced. On Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Hartford County, the Rocky Hill School District placed three schools in “soft lockdowns” after there were reports of shots fired from one vehicle towards a second at approximately noon in the area of Orchard Street and Textbook Avenue. Shots Fired Outside CT Schools Lead To 'Soft Lockdown'
A drive-by shooting led to “soft lockdowns” for several Connecticut schools as police investigated reports of shots fired. In Hartford County, police said that police in Rocky Hill responded to the area of Orchard Street and Textbook Avenue at approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7, where there were reports of shots fired from one vehicle toward a second vehicle.
