Trumbull Man Asleep Behind Wheel On Roadway Under Influence, Police Say
A Trumbull man who police say was asleep and under the influence behind the wheel has been charged. Wilton Police say they observed a 2011 Toyota Camry missing the front left tire that was parked in the North travel lane of Cedar Road on Monday, Oct. 14 around 3:30 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Sylvester Jones, 76, of Trumbull, was asleep in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running, police say.
