Body Found At Stevenson Dam In Oxford An investigation is underway after a body was found Friday afternoon at Stevenson Dam in Oxford. The body was found on the property at around 3 p.m. and there is no criminal aspect to this investigation, according to state police. The medical examiner’s office will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, state police said. The identity of the person is not being released at this time.

Crash Involving School Bus Closes Route 34 In Monroe At Stevenson Dam MONROE, Conn. -- An accident involving a school bus has closed part of Route 34 in Monroe at the Stevenson Dam near the Oxford town line Wednesday. Monroe Police said the collision involved a school bus with no students on board.
