Thanksgiving Holiday Car Crashes Killed 7 People In Connecticut This Year
Seven people were killed in fatal car accidents in Connecticut over Thanksgiving and the weekend. Thanksgiving time is one of the most dangerous times of the year to travel by car in the U.S., according to the National Safety Council. Across the nation, NCS estimates that 485 people died in car crashes this Thanksgiving holiday period. On Monday, Nov. 30, around 4 p.m., State Police identified another victim. Juan Carlos Delvalle, 53, of Waterbury died in a motor vehicle crash on Route 2 in Glastonbury on Sunday, Nov. 29, according to NBC Connecticut. Delvalle died when he lost control of…
