More than 200,000 pounds of pre-packaged salad products are being recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. Ready Pac Foods East Coast establishments announced a recall of approximately 222,915 ready-to-eat salad products with meat and poultry because the products contain Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated salad dressing that has been recalled by the producer, Litehouse Inc., due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen that could impact some consumers. Recall Issued For Beef Tamale Products Due To Mislabeling
Nearly 2,000 pounds of beef tamale products have been recalled due to misbranding concerns, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced this week. Texas-based Padrino Foods, LLC, announced that it is recalling 1,931 pounds of products that are labeled as beef and sirloin tamales, but contain pork inside the package. Recall Issued For This Mislabeled Chef Boyardee Product
Thousands of pounds of a popular Chef Boyardee chicken and rice brand are being recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced over the weekend. According to the FSIS, Conagara Brands in Pennsylvania is recalling approximately 2,871 pounds of the product labeled as chicken and rice, but which contained beef ravioli. An undetermined amount of ShopRite brand raw, skinless, boneless chicken products has been recalled by Amboy Group LLC due to misbranding of products that may contain allergens.
