Man, 21, Charged Carrying More Than 8 Pounds Of Pot In Bridgeport Stop Connecticut State Police have arrested a 21-year-old man after seizing more than eight pounds of marijuana during an overnight traffic stop. State police said that at about 12:15 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, troopers from Troop G- Bridgeport were completing a motor vehicle stop on Route 8 southbound near exit 7 when a Volkswagen Passat drove past the stationary state police cruisers (with emergency lights activated) in the right lane nearly sideswiping a cruiser.  Troopers stopped the Volkswagen for failing to obey the Move Over Law, and upon speaking with the operator they smelled the odor of …
